Happy New Year from Finnebrogue Artisan

2019 was an exciting year for us here at Finnebrogue Artisan. We secured new contracts, extended existing ones, created new products and improved our current recipes. We built a vegetarian factory and our veggie and vegan products flew off the shelves. We passed our factory audit with flying colours; an impressive zero majors and zero minors.

We attended Balmoral, Hillsborough Food Festival, BBC Good Food and Silverstone to sample and sell across all our brands. We made headlines in the press, featuring in the Daily Telegraph, Mail and Observer for our Naked Bacon to name a few, and our own-label creations for leading retailers took top titles in taste tests with the Guardian, BBC Good Food and Good Housekeeping.

2020 is set to be another busy one and we can’t wait to get started! We’ve started the year with an exciting own-label launch for Asda. The Plant Based range includes meat-free meatballs, sausages, mince and burgers. These mushroom-based meat alternatives are a sustainable substitute to soya-based products, not to mention gluten free and count as one of your five-a-day.

The awareness around nitrites is continuing to grow and we have big plans to continue building on our Naked brand this year. Our continued campaigning is successfully educating retailers and customers on the importance of removing nitrites from processed meats and we are preparing to meet the demand that comes with that.

From everyone at Finnebrogue, thank you to our customers for your continued support in 2019 and thank you to the millions of consumers who have loyally been enjoying our delicious products over the last twelve months. We look forward to sharing 2020 with you!
