Good Little Company Takes on Belfast City Marathon

In support of the Mulanje Mission Hospital

Once gain the Finnebrogue Artisan team have laced up their running shoes and come together to take on the Belfast City Marathon in support of the Good Little Company!

In a re-match of last year’s race the girls; Sarah, Carol, Kerri, Rachel and Aisling will be racing the boys; David, Nathan, Sean, Mantas and Kennie to the finish line. The boys were the 2016 champions taking the title from the girls in just over 4 hours but can they hold them off for a second year? We’re not so sure, but wish all ten participants well in their quest to complete the run covering all 26.2 miles.

The Good Little Company charity partners are held close to the heart of Finnebrogue Artisan employees. With this in mind both teams have decided that all proceeds raised through the charity event will go straight to the Mulanje Mission Hospital, based in Malawi.

No one can concentrate on an empty stomach, that’s why we are supporting the most vulnerable through Mulanje Mission’s Orphan Feeding Programme.

Family is important in Malawi, so things can get pretty difficult for the country’s orphans. These, most vulnerable, children often don’t have access to basic medical treatment, schooling and nutritious meals. We don’t think that’s acceptable, and we’re pretty sure you feel the same way.

In partnership with Good Little Company, the Mulanje Mission Hospital is providing free medical treatment, paying school fees and ensuring every child gets at least one square meal a day.

Each donation goes a long way so please help support us with our mission either through a small donation on our Just Giving page or by simply clicking through our website and reading up on our project work in Africa.
