Businesses can be a force for good in the communities they serve. Finnebrogue is committed to playing its part.
As the largest private employer locally, Finnebrogue has an enormous responsibility within our community. We take pride in where we come from and work closely with schools, colleges and social groups to support the delivery of programmes and events – from supplying sausages for summer bbqs, sponsoring sports teams or supplying selection boxes for the community santa at Christmas.
Finnebrogue proudly partners with Fareshare, HomelessConnect, and the Bread and Butter Thing by providing edible surplus products to its food banks, shelters, and various charitable organisations. dditionally,
Finnebrogue actively supports Children in Northern Ireland, donating £25k per year to support the delivery of family-related programmes in underprivileged areas and providing product to school holiday schemes in Downpatrick – to help tackle holiday hunger.
Through his charity work, Denis helped to eradicate childhood malaria deaths in an entire district of southern Malawi, supported Cancer Fund for Children and helped to tackle holiday hunger long before it was fashionable.
