Giant Pigs in Blankets

No Christmas lunch is complete without pigs in blankets. And what could be better than giant pigs in blankets, made without nitrites? Juicy, smoky, and utterly indulgent — these ultimate festive treats are made using Finnebrogue Naked Premium Pork Sausages wrapped in deliciously smoky Finnebrogue Naked Streaky Bacon.

Ingredients

6 Finnebrogue Naked Pork Sausages 

6 Rashers Finnebrogue Naked Streaky Bacon 

6 Sprigs of rosemary 

2 tbsp maple syrup 

Method

No Christmas lunch is complete without a pigs in blanket. And what could be better than pigs in blankets with no nitrites!

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. 
  1. Take a Finnebrogue Naked Pork Sausage then place a small sprig of rosemary on top of each sausage then wrap the sausage and rosemary together using piece of Finnebrogue Naked Streaky Bacon to create the giant pigs in blankets. 
  1. Place the pigs in blankets onto a lined baking sheet then roast in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 200°C. 5 minutes before cooking has finished, brush the sausages with the maple syrup then return back to the oven for 5 minutes further until golden brown and sticky. 
  1. Remove the sausages from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes then serve immediately with your favourite roasted vegetables or as part of your festive dinner!
