We are proud to announce that Darégal have received the Finnebrogue Supplier Sustainability Award, the top honour presented to the supplier that most clearly demonstrates consistently high environmental and social standards across every aspect of their operations.
Sustainability is central to Darégal’s identity. In 2022, they became a “Société à Mission” – a company with purpose – defining their mission as:
“Protecting the diversity of aromatic plants, passing on the taste emotions of aromatic plants to as many people as possible, and ensuring the long-term future of the sector of aromatic plants.”
Darégal’s herbs are climate resilient and traceable back to the field, and their strong commitment to people and purpose was recognised in 2024 with a place on the Best Workplaces list.
As part of Finnebrogue’s supplier engagement programme, the Darégal team shared their sustainability journey in a dedicated presentation, providing valuable inspiration and insight. Their thoughtful approach and ethos have helped equip our New Product Development team with new, sustainability-led ideas for incorporating ethical and resilient sourcing into product development.
