Naked Without the Moo Mince

SERVES 2 | PREP 15 mins | COOK 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Pack of Naked Without the Moo Mince
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 50g (70%) dark chocolate, grated
  • 1 tbsp each of coriander and paprika
  • 1 tsp each of ancho chilli flakes and oregano
  • Glug of olive oil
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 2 pizza bases (or roll out readymade dough)
  • 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 150g mozarella
  • Rocket and jalapenos to garnish

Method

  • Enjoy James Strawbridge's delicious homemade recipe for plant-based sloppy joe pizza! This pizza can be cooked in a conventional kitchen oven.Preheat your oven to 220˚C or fire up a pizza oven to 350˚C. Next, in a hot lightly oiled frying pan, sauté the red onion for 2-3 mins, then add Naked Without the Moo Mince, paprika, chilli flakes and oregano to the pan. Cook for 4-5 mins before adding grated dark chocolate (yummy!) and season to taste. Roll out your readymade pizza dough and spread with a generous ladle of tomato sauce. Then top with sloppy joe mince and mozzarella cheese. Bake the sloppy joe pizza in the oven for 8-10 mins until the dough is golden and the cheese has melted.
