SERVES 4-6 | PREP 15 mins | COOK 40 mins

  • Pack Naked Pork Sausages
  • 215g ready rolled puff pastry
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 small apple, grated
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp ground almonds (optional)

  • Delicious homemade sausage rolls are perfect lunchbox fillers or tasty picnic foods. They're quick and easy to make using Naked Pork Sausages and puff pastry.

    Preheat the oven to 200C.

Squeeze the sausage meat into a bowl and mix in the other ingredients.

Roll out the pastry and spoon the sausage mix into the centre to form a long sausage shape.

Fold over the pastry to cover the sausage meat, so that a border forms, then seal and press the edge with a fork.

Brush with egg or milk to glaze the pastry - this will enhance the colour as the pastry bakes.

Baked in the oven for 25 -30mins until the pastry puffs and browns.
