Managing Director Brian McMonagle departs Finnebrogue Artisan having concluded five-year contract
Finnebrogue Artisan has announced Brian McMonagle will leave the business today after five years as managing director.
In leaving the firm, Mr McMonagle concludes an enormously successful five-year contract with the Northern Irish food company which has seen turnover soar from £18 million in 2014 to an expected £95 million this year.
Commenting on Mr McMonagle’s departure, Finnebrogue chairman Denis Lynn said:
“I want to thank Brian for the phenomenal job he has done for Finnebrogue over the last five years. He has helped me deliver astonishing growth – and has laid such solid foundations that means we are now in an incredibly strong place going forward. He leaves with all of our best wishes for whatever he chooses to do next.
“The talented, energetic and experienced senior management team that Brian has helped me build is now in an excellent position to lead Finnebrogue on the next step of our extraordinary journey.”
Mr McMonagle commented:
“My five years at Finnebrogue have been some of the most rewarding, challenging and satisfying of my career. It is a very special business with a clear direction of travel and a remarkable team now ready to take it onto the next level.
“I have been away from home for five years and promised my wife that I would take some time out when I concluded my contract. I look forward to going travelling with her and spending more time with the rest of my family. I will then come back refreshed and ready to explore the potential for some consultancy work when the time is right.”
