History
Legend speaks of the great grief of the people
upon the death of Saint Patrick and how two celtic
oxen were taken from the Finnebrogue estate to
pull his funeral cart. The oxen were not driven,
and where they halted became his resting place.
From those far off days in 462 A.D. when Saint
Patrick walked the green hills of Finnebrogue
near Downpatrick, the fresh produce from this
land has been enjoyed by generations.
Finnebrogue
Venison is specially selected from our prime deer
herd which roam freely in 600 acres of rolling
parkland. Raised on natural feed, free from genetically
modified material and without the use of growth
promoters or anti-biotics.
